Hi! My name is Chris Adikaram.

I'm a 35-year-old aviator, entrepreneur, and lifelong student from sunny Sri Lanka.

Professionally, I wear two rather different hats. I hold a BSc in Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa and am the founder of Abacus Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, a bespoke software development company. I also hold a Commercial Pilot License and a Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License, and currently serve as a First Officer with SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier of Sri Lanka.

Beyond my professional life, I am actively involved in several social and community organizations, including serving as Treasurer of Mayans MC Ceylon.

When I'm not flying aircraft or building software, you'll usually find me pursuing one of my many hobbies. I enjoy music and play both the guitar and saxophone, while also working on developing my singing voice. I have a passion for travel photography, sketching, and watercolor painting. I'm also an avid philatelist with a growing collection of stamps, souvenir sheets, and first-day covers. On quieter days, I enjoy gardening, aquascaping, and simply learning something new.

This blog is a collection of my thoughts, experiences, observations, successes, failures, and lessons learned along the way. I certainly don't claim to have all the answers, I'm merely sharing my journey and hoping that some part of it might resonate with you.
